KLa Project - Jogjakarta/Yogyakarta (The Original Version)
Uploaded by katonbagaskara on Dec 28, 2007
I found a famous old Indonesian song about Yogyakarta by KLa Project - once was the Indonesian band - in Youtube. It was talking about someone who missed to come back to Yogyakarta - with all the memories - wants to meet his lover on there. It will give some pictures how about Yogyakarta was in the past time. And I like it's melody also :). More brief translated introduction about KLa Project themself can be founded in http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/KLa_Project.
Yogyakarta also known as Jogja, Jogjakarta is a city in the Yogyakarta Special Region, Indonesia. It is renowned as a centre of classical Javanese fine art and culture such as batik, ballet, drama, music, poetry, and puppet shows. Yogyakarta was the Indonesian capital during the Indonesian National Revolution from 1945 to 1949. More brief introduction about Yogyakarta can be founded in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yogyakarta. In 27 May 2006 a big and disastertrous earthquake was hitted Yogyakarta with scale 5.9 SR (Richter Scale). In international world we known it as May 2006 Java Earthquake. It was categorized as national disaster by Indonesia governments and brought huge destruction effects. But thanks to God it was quick recovery. For more brief information can be founded in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_2006_Java_earthquake .
I have a girlfriend on there. Her name is R. r. Ratri Hapsari. She is a very nice, bright and amazing girl. She once was my "tour guide" when I was coming there. I was introducing by her to her mother and her friends also. They are very nice guys and girls. She is living in Basen, Kotagede, Yogyakarta. In her Basen village they have a local programme called Kampung Wisata (a Tourism Village) and it has been published in http://rw04basen.com/. For you who like food tourism, metal or silver art craft, and another local fine art can be found on there.
